From three-man operation to an
international company |
The company's continuously growing success and expansion through subsidiaries also means that staff numbers have increased. The 1960s three-man operation has grown into an international company with more than 250 staff members. The fact that Louis Widmer still has many people working for the company today who have been there right from the beginning is proof that the employees also value and support the Louis Widmer philosophy.
Qualitative growth
Louis Widmer founded its first subsidiary in 1969 in Austria. Today the company maintains its own subsidiaries in five European countries and also has cooperation agreements with carefully selected agents and partners in 15 other countries. The company plans to gradually develop existing markets and continue its expansion into new markets. And in this regard, the same selection criteria that apply in Switzerland apply everywhere else – partners must be reliable, professional and, above all, share and live the Widmer philosophy. This guarantees that the same values that have endured since 1960 will continue to define the company in the future.
